Choose WhatsApp or email, connect Google Drive, set up Amy, set your chase schedule and confirm your company details.
1Choose your chase channel
Your account chases on one channel at a time: WhatsApp or email. It decides which contact detail is required when you add a candidate, and how every new campaign is sent. Set it in Settings → Assistant → Chase Channel.

WhatsApp
Amy messages candidates on WhatsApp. Every candidate needs a phone number. Nothing else to set up.
Email
Amy writes from your own domain. Every candidate needs an email address, and the domain has to be verified first.
If you choose email: verify your sending domain
Amy sends from your domain, not ours, so candidates see a name they recognise and replies come back to you. That means proving you own it.
Go to Settings → Integrations → Email Sending Domain and enter your domain.
We give you a short list of DNS records. Add them at whoever hosts your domain. Your IT team or provider will know where.
Click Verify. DNS can take anything from a few minutes to a few hours to propagate, so if it isn’t ready yet, come back and press it again.
Only the account owner can change the chase channel, because it changes how everybody’s new campaigns are sent. Everyone else sees which one is in use. Campaigns already running keep the channel they started on, so nobody is moved mid-conversation.
2Connect Google Drive
This is where every document Amy collects gets saved, neatly organised. It only takes a moment.

Chase ScheduleHow often new campaigns chase, and when they give up
Chase every
1days
A reminder every day until they send everything.
Flag after silence of
5days
No reply and nothing sent for 5 days. A message or a document, on either channel, resets the clock.
Send chases at
10:00
One chase a candidate per day, at this time. A chase that misses its hour is caught up within six.
In this timezone
America/New York
Whose clock the send time is read on.
Example: a candidate is emailed at 10:00 every day, America/New York time. If they reply on day 2, that clears the silence and they are flagged only after 5 quiet days from then.
Chase every
How many days between reminders. Default 1, so a reminder every day until they've sent everything.
Flag after silence of
How many days of no contact at all before a candidate is flagged for your attention. Default 5.
Send time
The hour chases go out. Default 10:00am.
Timezone
Whose ten o'clock. Set this to where your candidates are, not where your server is.
The timezone matters more than it looks. It decides whether “10am” is ten in the morning for the person being chased or the middle of their evening. Set it once and every campaign you create afterwards inherits it.
5Confirm your company details
In Settings → General, check your Company / Agency Name under Account Information. This name appears in the messages Amy sends, so clients know exactly who’s getting in touch. Save and you’re set up for good.
