JobAdder

Connect JobAdder by signing in, write chase rules, and see how documents are filed to the candidate.

How it works
Sign in with JobAdder

In GettingDocs, go to Settings → Integrations, choose JobAdder and approve access. We read your candidate statuses, custom fields, users, folders and attachment categories so your rules can use them.

Connect JobAdder

Go to Settings → Integrations, find the JobAdder card and click Connect. You’ll sign in to JobAdder, approve access and be returned here. There’s no key to copy.

Sign in as someone who can see every candidate. GettingDocs acts with the connecting user’s permissions, so it can only read, and attach files to, the records they can reach in JobAdder.

Then, on the same card, choose which candidate statuses mean “do not contact”. JobAdder has no off-limits flag of its own, so until you pick some, nobody is blocked by status.

There’s nothing to set up in JobAdder. We register a webhook for candidate changes when you connect, so edits arrive within a minute, and a check every fifteen minutes picks up everything else, including new candidates. The card shows whether live updates are on.

Disconnecting removes the webhook and revokes our access in JobAdder as well as removing it here.

JobAdder chase rules

Open Settings → Integrations → Manage, click New rule, and pick who to chase from three lists: statuses, recruiters and folders. Within one list any pick will do; across lists, candidates must match all of them. JobAdder’s API can’t filter on custom fields, so those three are the choice.

For the documents, pick a candidate custom field that lists what each person owes and map each of its values to your document types. A multi-select list works too: each ticked value adds its documents. Unmapped and empty values fall back to the set you nominate, or leave the field out and ask everyone for the same set.

Preview and Run now work exactly as described for Recruit CRM.

Candidates in your do-not-contact statuses are never messaged, and anyone marked as unsubscribed in JobAdder is never chased by email.

Filing to JobAdder

Documents are attached to the candidate in JobAdder, under the attachment category whose name matches the document type. With no match, references are filed as Reference, licences and certificates as License, background checks as Check, and everything else as Other.

Nothing is ever filed as the candidate’s Resume: JobAdder treats the newest one as their CV, so a collected document filed there would replace it.

With the note option on, Amy adds one note titled Documents collected once everything is in.

GettingDocs reads candidates and attaches files and notes. It never creates, edits or deletes a candidate, and never changes a status.
